1 pound of large mushrooms
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 cup of butter or margarine
2 tablespoons of catsup
1 medium onion diced
1/2 cup of bacon bits
1 cup of fine seasoned bread crumbs
1 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup of milk
1 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Wash & dry mushrooms. Remove & chop stems. Melt butter & sauté the chopped stems & onions. Stir in the crumbs & cook for two minutes. Add the catsup. Stuff the mushroom caps with the mixture & garnish with the bacon bits. Place in baking dish. Mix sour cream & milk together then pour over the top of the mushrooms. Sprinkle lightly with the paprika. Bake at 400 degrees for 20- 25 minutes. Makes about 18 to 24 mushrooms.
