CENTRE COUNTY PERCHERON WINS SUPREME CHAMPION AT THE 2011 PA FARM SHOW

Harrisburg – Windermeres Adrenalin, a Percheron owned by Windermere Farm of Spring Mills, Centre County, was named Supreme Champion Draft Horse on Friday, Jan. 7, at the 2011 Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg.

Ken and Karen Sandoe of Sunny Hill Farm from Myerstown, Lebanon County, took home Grand Champion Gelding honors. Reserve Champion Gelding went to Fox Knoll’s Exodus, owned by Windermere Farm.

The Pennsylvania Farm Show is the largest indoor agricultural event in the nation, featuring nearly 6,000 animals, 10,000 competitive exhibits and 290 commercial exhibitors. The show runs Jan. 8-15 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg. Admission is free and parking is $10.
