DAUPHIN COUNTY YOUTH SAYS ‘HALLELUJIA’ AFTER WINNING BEST DOE IN SHOW IN JUNIOR DAIRY GOAT DIVISION
Two-Year-Old LaMancha Female Wins Top Honors

HARRISBURG – Morgan Winfindale’s two-year-old LaMancha goat, “Hallelujia,” was named Best Doe in Show in the Junior Dairy Goat show on Thursday, Jan. 15 at the 2009 Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. 
 
The Hummelstown, Dauphin County, 4-H’er is a member of Lamp Oil Farm, besting 24 other exhibitors, and her prized doe topped more than 40 dairy goats in the show.
 
Seven breeds and divisions were represented including Alpine, LaMancha, Nubian, Saanen, Toggenburg, All Other Purebreds and Recorded Grades.
 
The results for the seven divisions are as follows:
 
Alpine
Grand Champion:
Seven Maples TR ECH Evie, exhibited by Brent Mabus of Small Fry Farm located in Millmont, Union County.
 
Reserve Grand Champion:  Cherry Glen Egomanic Holiday, exhibited by Heather Moffitt of Breezy Way Farm located in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County.
 
LaMancha
Grand Champion:
Rockspring Den hail Hallelujia, exhibited by Morgan Winfindale of Lamp Oil Farm located in Hummelstown, Dauphin County.
 
Reserve Grand Champion: Bryner's Haven Lilac, exhibited by Jacob Mabus of Small Fry Farm located in Millmont, Union County.

Grand Champion:
