2011 Pennsylvania Farm Show
The 2011 Pennsylvania Farm Show, set for Jan. 8 – 15, is on track to be the best yet with many new features and attractions, as well as time-honored traditions.
As always, the nearly half-million show visitors will see the best of Pennsylvania’s top industry – agriculture. The highest-quality animals will pass through show and sale rings, the state’s youth will be recognized with scholarships and awards, and long-time show supporters and sponsors will be honored.
The 95th show will offer new family living classes, horse-pulling contests and educational seminars. The youth talent show returns and country music singer, Glen Shelton, will perform a concert.
Other annual favorites like the butter sculpture, Sheep-to-Shawl contest, Farm Show Detectives and Celebrity Cow Milking Contest will delight show-goers, as well as the famed Food Court that offers the best Pennsylvania-produced products.
Mark your calendars! We look forward to showcasing the many ways in which agriculture is keeping Pennsylvania growing.
